What we collect

If you fill in the demo feedback form: your answers and the email address you give us. There is no account, no password, no profile.

Stored with them: which link brought you to the form, if it carried campaign tags — that tells us where playtesters came from, not who you are.

Your IP address is held for ten minutes so the same person cannot flood the form. It is never written next to your answers and never leaves the server.

The form saves as you go, so a dropped connection does not cost you what you have written. That draft is kept on your own device and goes nowhere else.

There is a box you can tick — off unless you tick it — to also keep a copy on our server, including the email address, so you can come back and finish later. Only then does anything leave your device before you press send. Untick it and we delete that copy. It is deleted when you submit, and thirty days after your last change if you never do.

On every page, like most sites: anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics (loaded via Google Tag Manager), session replay through Microsoft Clarity, and traffic counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics. These record how pages are used, not who you are.

Why

The feedback answers exist so we can fix the game. The email address exists so we can come back to you with a follow-up question about what you wrote. It is not a mailing list and we do not sell, rent or share it.

How long we keep it

Feedback rows and the email addresses attached to them are deleted twelve months after the Steam Fest they belong to. Server-side drafts, if you asked for one, are deleted thirty days after the last change, by a job that runs nightly whether or not anyone is using the form. Analytics data follows the retention set by each provider.

Getting your data removed

Write to [email protected] and we will delete your feedback, your address and any unsubmitted draft. No reason needed, no forms to fill in.
